I wanted to thank everyone who attended the Boardman Open Tournament. I would also like to thank Don Hollis and his wife for there help with setting up the tournament scales and tanks. Also for helping with the BBQ the night before at our business meeting put on by the Mid-Columbia Bass Anglers Club. The BBQ was great.
Fishing was good and bites were plentiful. Fish were on the small side for this tournament, but everyone brought in a limit. Kevin Gray and Jeff Ball brought in a mixed bag of large mouth and small mouth to take the winning weight of 15.66 lbs and 2nd big fish of 3.83 lbs. Coming in second with a limit of large mouth was Jason Hooper and Orville Alleman with 13.29 lbs and 3rd big fish of 3.74 lbs. Rounding out the top 3 was Cody King and Brent Thompson with a total of 12.96 lbs. Also included in the money was Jim Sutterfield and Tyler Jewett with the biggest fish of the tournament a 3.91 large mouth.

Just wanted to thank everyone who attended the Hood River Open Tournament. It was our final open tournament of the year. Everyone who competed for points to make the fish off will qualify. Point totals are listed below. I would like to thank everyone who helped out with all of the open tournaments especially Orville Alleman, it was much appreciated.
Now for some results. Fishing was good and getting bites didn't seem to be a problem. Everyone spoke of getting numerous fish and lots of small fish. Thomas Bookman and John Schaeffner came out on top, weeding out the small ones and coming to the scales with 16.65 lbs. and big fish of the tournament a 3.96 Smallie. Kevin Gray and Jeff Ball came in 2nd with 15.96 lbs and 2nd big fish of the tournament a 3.72 pounder. Finishing off the top three was Byron Chaves and Darren Bartholomew with 15.38 lbs. Rounding out the pay outs was Bill Rosenbalm and Mitch Mcclannah with 3rd big fish a 3.65 pounder. Once again, thank you to everyone who competed and helped out with all 3 Open Tournaments.
